Pair of Bloor Derby Figures of Milton and Shakespeare, England, c.1830, each gilt trimmed and enamel decorated, and each modeled leaning on books atop a pedestal, mounted to cut corner rectangular bases with fluted sides, Shakespeare with incised number 305 below the base, Milton with number 297, blue painted mark with crown, (light gilt wear), ht. 10 in.
