Signed, dated and identified "Henry Bacon 1902..." l.r.
Watercolor on paper, sight size 19 3/4 x 13 in. (50 x 33 cm), framed.
Condition: Toning, fading, minor staining to lower edge, not examined out of frame.

N.B. Abu Simbel is located on the west bank of the Nile River. Here there are two temples in honor of Ramses II, constructed approximately 1250 B.C. In the larger of the two temples stands four monumental carvings of the king, two of which are pictured above.
