N.B. John is an Artist-in-Residence at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis, where he teaches figure and portrait drawing as well as Impressionist oil painting. He is a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association and an award winning member of the American Impressionist Society. He is also a member of the Maryland Society of Portrait Painters.
