Trippensee Planetarium, Detroit, c. 1920, with brass sun, Earth with colored gores and geared Moon, on brass base with calendar, season and Zodiac circle, lg. 20 in., in possibly original storage case.

Note: The globe has been annotated with the routes of the Graf Zeppelin's around-the-world flight, the Lindbergh trans-Atlantic flight, and Admiral Byrd's Antarctic flight, all important aviation highlights of the 1920s.
