Georges Braque (French, 1882-1963)

Bass, 1911/1912, printed 1950 outside of the edition of 50 (Vallier, 7). Unsigned, inscribed "Bass. eau forte 1911 .H.C.tire a 50 ex" on the reverse, identified on label from the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, Brunswick, Maine, on the reverse. Etching on Arches cream wove paper with watermark, plate size 18 x 12 7/8 in. (45.7 x 32.7 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins over three inches with deckled edges, light toning.
