Federal Mahogany Inlaid Card Table, Massachusetts, c. 1790-1800, the D-form hinged top with cross-banded and string inlaid edge above a conforming base with central mitred panel enclosing a wavy birch oval flanked by rectangular panels bordered by contrasting stringing with crossbanded edge on four square tapering legs with paneled dies and stringing terminating with dart inlaid cuffs, original surface, (imperfections),ht. 29 1/2, wd. 36, dp. 16 3/4 in.
