Art Deco Platinum and Diamond Bracelet, the flexible, geometric plaques set with three marquise and six triangular-cut diamonds flanked by calibr}-cut sapphires, the bracelet set throughout with transitional and single-cut diamonds, joined by hinges set with onyx button terminals, millegrain accents, stamped BERT H. SATZ on an applied plaque, lg. 7 1/8 in. Note: According to a contemporary, Bertram H. Satz opened his New York City Fifth Avenue store in the neighborhood of Van Cleef & Arpels in 1929, an inauspicious year. The business folded in 1931. Satz then moved to California, establishing a very active business in Beverly Hills.
