Embroidered Silk Masonic Apron, America, early 19th century, various symbols with the sun on the flap, initialed "J.B.," an arch flanked by leafy branches, columns, sun and moon, a bow-knot, and tassel above, embroidered in silk, chenille, metallic threads, and sequins on a white ground, yellow ribbon on blue silk border, mounted on blue velvet fabric, in a giltwood frame, (minor losses), 18 x 18 1/2 in.
