Northern Plain Beaded Pouch, Crow, c. 1880s, the rectangular commercial hide form, beaded on the front in geometric devices using white-center red, dark and light blue, and greasy yellow seed beads, with tin cone danglers along the bottom, original tag reads "From the Crow Indian 'Alligator' Crow Agency Montana Ty April 27th 1888," lg. 4 1/2 in. Provenance: Collected on the Crow Reservation in the late 1880s.
