Harriet Whitney Frishmuth (American, 1880-1979) "Crest of the Wave," 1925. Signed and dated "HARRIET W. FRISHMUTH 1925" on the base, stamped "GORHAM CO FOUNDERS QFHL" on edge of the base. Bronze with rich brown patina, height 20 7/8 in. (53.0 cm),presented on a low black plinth. Condition: Subtle wear to surface.
