Classical Carved Mahogany Veneer Sideboard, New York, 1830s, the splashboard with molded edge and four spiral carved and turned columns topped by urn-shaped finials over a rectangular top which overhangs a recessed paneled case of cockbeaded drawers and cupboards outlined with cross-banded mahogany veneer, the top two drawers with dividers above the short drawers and the bottle drawers flanked by the end recessed panel doors, the left one with a single shelf interior, the right one with a two-shelf interior, flanked by columnar leaf-carved supports over frontal carved paw feet, rear feet are heavily turned and tapering, old refinish, (imperfections),ht. 56 3/4, wd. 60 1/4, dp. 23 5/8 in.
