English Victorian Coromandel Veneered Necessaire, mid-19th century, the rectangular box with brass edging, lid with engraved and monogrammed roundel, hinged lid opening to fitted interior with ten silver-lidded glass bottles and boxes, the silver hallmarked for London, 1877, and engraved with scrolls and monogram, with four further sewing implements, interior of lid with mirrored document folio, box with lower drawer, ht. 7 1/8, lg. 12 1/8, wd. 9 3/8 in.
