Extensive Gorham "Melrose" Flatware Service, Providence, 20th century, comprising twelve each of: dinner knives, luncheon knives, butter spreaders, place forks, luncheon forks, seafood forks, cream soup spoons, iced tea spoons, and demitasse spoons; twenty-seven ice cream forks, thirty-six salad forks, twenty-four place spoons, thirty-nine teaspoons, a butter knife, four sugar spoons, sugar tongs, jelly spoon, bonbon spoon, pickle fork, gravy ladle, and letter opener, together with three other small sterling serving pieces, (approx. 250 pieces),approx. 273 troy oz., excluding the knives and letter opener, lg. to 9 5/8 in.
